Chocolate Waffle Bark (High Protein, Grain-Free)

Chocolate lovers, get ready for a delicious and fun twist on waffles! This Chocolate Waffle Bark is a high-protein, grain-free treat that combines the comforting flavor of waffles with a rich chocolate coating. It’s perfect for a snack, dessert, or even a post-workout treat, thanks to its protein-packed ingredients. The crispy waffle triangles are covered in melted chocolate, sprinkled with fun toppings, and then frozen to create a bark that’s as satisfying as it is easy to make.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

This Chocolate Waffle Bark is not your typical dessert. It’s made with a high-protein iwaffle base that’s both grain-free and gluten-free, using almond flour, tapioca starch, and grass-fed whey protein powder. Not only does it have that crispy waffle texture, but it’s also topped with a smooth chocolate coating that makes every bite feel indulgent. Plus, you can customize the toppings to match your mood or the season—think sprinkles, chopped nuts, or even a pinch of sea salt for a sweet and salty combo.

ingredients used for this recipe:

• Almond Flour: Provides a nutty flavor and adds a dose of healthy fats and protein.
• tapioca Starch: Helps bind the waffle batter and gives it that perfect crispness.
• Grass-Fed vanilla Whey Protein Powder: The star of this recipe, adding an extra boost of protein to keep you energized, but also giving them both a fluffy and crisp texture.
• Baking Powder: Helps the waffles rise and become fluffy.
• Salt: Enhances the overall flavor.
• refined Coconut Oil, melted and room temp: Adds moisture and richness to the waffles.
• Coconut or Maple Sugar (optional): For a touch of sweetness, but can be skipped for a lower sugar option.
• Dairy-Free Milk or milk of choice: Almond, soy, flax, or coconut milk all work well.
•Eggs: Helps bind the batter and gives the waffles structure.

Chocolate Bark Topping

• Chocolate Chips: Use dark, semi-sweet, or dairy-free chocolate for a vegan option. • Coconut Oil: This makes the melted chocolate smooth and easier to pour. • Toppings: Sprinkles, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or a pinch of sea salt for added texture and flavor.
